The puppy you have selected is warranted by us to the AUTHENTIC BUYER only. Should you decide to rehome or sell the puppy, the warranty becomes inapplicable. We warranty the puppy free from Parvo Virus, Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, & Corona Virus.
FIRST YEAR WARRANTY: Complete an initial vet check within 10 days of ownership and notify us immediately if any issue is found. We include one (1) complementary free physical exam at our local vet should you feel inclined. If an issue arises and we are notified prior to treatment/payment, we will cover the reasonable treatment in these 10 days anything health-wise. We cannot and will not pay retroactively for vet bills where we had no part in the decision making of treatment or testing. We must be consulted prior to payment.
Although genetic issues are rare, in the unlikely event your puppy is diagnosed with a genetic fault, we abide strictly by the State Mandated 1-year congenital defect warranty. For irreversible issues you may:
(1)Return the dog to US for a refund of the purchase price, plus sales tax.
(2)Exchange the diagnosed puppy for a pup of the purchaser’s choice of equivalent value (providing a replacement dog is available.)
(3)Retain the dog, and reimbursement for reasonable veterinary fees for treating the dog in an amount not to exceed 150% of the original purchase price of the dog, plus sales tax.
If an issue is correctible by surgery, medicine, or some other treatment, those corrections are to be done at an approved Veterinarian at our cost. Any correction or Veterinarian care covered under our health guarantee must be performed by a veterinarian approved by German Shepherd In some cases we may require a 2nd (or 3rd) professional’s opinion. We're not trying to replace your Veterinarian. Bear in mind we want the very best for your puppy– but, this isn’t necessarily always the service with the highest price tag.
LIFETIME GUARANTEE: YEARS 2-10 Lifetime is defined as a period of ten years from the date of birth. In the event your puppy dies due to a genetic condition after the first year of birth, we will issue a credit in the amount of half of the original purchase price towards the purchase of a replacement puppy of equivalent value. Please take note—we would don't to believe your puppy is replaceable –however, we do believe the pain can be lessened should you decide to move in that direction. The cause of death will need certified by a licensed veterinarian. Offer must be used within 1 year. Records of regular checkups, puppy maintenance and all recommended immunizations may be required. This warranty does not cover vet costs incurred past your puppy’s first birthday or costs incurred by an unapproved Veterinarian in 1st year.
BREEDING RIGHTS: If you plan to breed your pet in the future please inform US during purchasing (or deposit reservation ) for approval. In most all cases, we require an upfront fee ($300 for these rights) for you to further the lineage. We cannot refund a purchase/deposit if you fail to ask for breeding rights prior to a purchase/hold.
SUDDEN DEATH: In the very rare cases of sudden death where cause cannot be determined by a licensed Veterinarian and/or the customer cannot pay for such diagnostic testing, we will offer financial aid off a new puppy of ours (up to $1000). German Shepherd does not pay for trauma-induced vet bills or emergency situations.
